Version 2.0.0 is here. Lots of big changes. Mod rotates the player by default now instead of the camera and controller users can finally rotate with the right thumbstick as requested. See the changelog for the full list of changes.
1.4.0 Adds the ability to rotate the player with controllers (left/right shoulder buttons), fixes the zoom bug when sheathing, added pitch settings, and rearranged the MCM
I've tried turning this mod on and off a few times and every time I have this mod enabled, I run into this bug:
Sometimes (not consistently but quite often), if I open my inventory, equip a weapon and QUICKLY close the menu, it just doesn't appear. I'm in 1st person and I can't see the weapon or my hands. Nothing happens when I left click because there's no weapon or hand to swing. If I open my inventory, it says the weapon is equipped.
If I switch to another weapon, or un-equip and re-equip the current weapon and wait a couple seconds before closing the menu, the weapon equips correctly.
This mod works (almost) correctly for me on AE1170. I don't have any crashes related to it. However, when I equip an item (armor, etc.), my character is moved to the left and ends up between the inventory window and the item window, sometimes it's distorted. Does anyone else have this problem? I also installed the Customizable Camera mod, do you think this could be related?
I don't have customizable camera but I also get this issue and I suspect it has something to dp with 3BA because it appears the distortion is around the breasts.
it seems the lighting is darker in menus, or maybe its an overlay from the UI thats making it appear so. Has anyone experienced this? Is it maybe something weird in my load order?
I don't know how to disable it, but I was able to move it to behind my inventory menu. In SkyUI's MCM, go to Advanced, then Item Card, and change its alignment and horizontal offset, according to whatever Inventory UI you use.
So right now I'm using Paper, so I changed it's alignment to Left and horizontal offset to -1000. I also changed 3D Item horizontal offset to 15 and scale to 1.5 so that it's situated next to my character in my inventory.
I'm currently using this in Enderal SE with Skyrim Souls & Immersive Equipping Animations. It's absolutely perfect for an immersive playthrough, thank you soooo much!
hi this mod is great and looks similer to the oblivion race menu where u can see your player i would like to know if u can make it look like more oblivion style where u can zoom in and out
Heels Fix's author said to not use the patch or it'd break their mod.
From author: "If you use "show player in menus" (or any other mod that affects 3rd person camera), just don't enable 3rd person camera correction in HeelsFix MCM."

VR Users:
I recommend View Yourself VR instead of this mod
