Hey everyone. I've decided to leave the Skyrim modding scene. If anyone wants to take over one or all of my mods, please let me know by private message (I get email notified). Otherwise, all of my mods are distributed with full source code in the BSA file, so feel free to alter them as you wish.
Interesting mod, but pretty bad documentation. It's not reasonable to expect a user to read all 7 pages of comments. It's reasonable to expect a user to read your description page, but the information needed isn't there.
Hello! I have been having problems for a long time, just coming back to Skyrim and modding (using other peoples' mods). But my logs are filling with errors. I have seen this particular issue posted, but not actually addressed. I have logging turned on. I have SKSE and SkyUI. I also have Live Another Life (for quick starts, so I can test mods).
I also have the "unoffical patches" installed (I have tried with Legendary, and with the 4 "non-legendary" patches), plus high-res patch.
In any case, the ONLY other mod I have is Jaxons Diagnostics. The log ALWAYS says:
Error: Unable to bind script JaxonzConsolePlugIn to JaxonzDiagnosticsQuest (0E000800) because their base types do not match
Error: Unable to bind script jaxonzdiagnostics to JaxonzDiagnosticsQuest (0E000800) because their base types do not match
Error: Unable to bind script jaxonzstringutil to JaxonzDiagnosticsQuest (0E000800) because their base types do not match
If I use the legendary patch, I also get errors about not finding the other patches:
Error: File "Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded.
Error: File "Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded.
Error: File "Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded.
Error: File "Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded.
These errors appear in the log at startup, when I pause, or when I load another cell.
What can I (or should I) do about these errors?
Thank you so much. BTW I LOVE the Archery Util and "Lights Please". Once I get Skyrim running smoothly, I will install those again!!
How do I use this to tell what mod is causing the heaviest script load in the game? I am getting multiple script related problems including npcs and mobs that just stand there and do not react to my presence (the most visible and bothersome problem), and just want to be able to determine which mods are good candidates for removal to reduce the load on the script engine. Note: Giving Papyrus additional time to run scripts ( 1.4, 1.6, even 1.8 on both settings) doesn't help, it just gives the problematic script(s) a bigger slice of time in which to expand, which slows down the renderer.
definitely one of my favorite and most useful mods. The only problem I'm having though is that sometimes when I use the Named save, or Positioner, it crashed my frame rate from close to 60 down to single digits, requiring a save and a restart to fix. No idea why this would be happening, but it's an inconvenience thats fortunately worth putting up with.
I know another mod out there does the same thing and it was due to the mod using the same key combo as the one to turn all ENB features on. Which, of course would drop the frame rate considerably on all but the most monstrous gaming rigs out there. Could this be the issue?
Very confused. For example your Latency test results on the images are 6.705902 the average is 0.067059 mine are also comparable to your numbers, these numbers are astronomically higher than the average, please explain.
I tried to undersatnd the result, but not that good doing so lol basically each test came out with a result at least 10x lower than the nominal value except latency and floatingpoint where, sometimes, the lowest values exploded the average and total values.. (lag spike?) (i'm running 180+ mods on heavy enb settings) thanks
I'm in the same boat, and I'm not literate enough to understand what that means. I just got this yesterday, along with a clean install and only running like 10 mods, mostly populated Skyrim and small village expansions, and a player home. I have no idea what could be causing it, and I'm on a decent computer with an Nvidia GTX 770. I'm hoping someone will come along, who can point us both in the right direction.
To begin GPU does not affect your papyrus script performance and while CPU might have some effect it all comes down to skyrim game engine. Now the skyrim engine is quite old and originally designed for console so don't expect very good performance out of it.
Now about the test results. Like the author points out in the images, you should mainly be looking at the average number the test is giving. Test the game multiple times and see if the average number stays large. Also try enabling papyrus logging and check if it's size is getting huge. For example I am currently running a save game that has been played for 2h with ~160 mods and my papyrus log size is 37kb.
It is also always good to have SKSE memory and ini tweaks installed and even if you don't use enb: EnBoost.
Hello jaxonz. There are two mods that do not load when you install your mod and are When Vampires Amazing Follower Attack and Teweaks. I tried several times and when I uninstall your mod work perfectly. With your mod loaded on AFT fails and WVA or loads. Thanks anyway and if you have to fix it. Sorry for my English this is written with Traslator. A greeting
