I tried your mod, interesting animations, especially liked the behavior of the first-person camera while running. The character's movement began to feel more natural.
If the animation itself is a subjective thing, some people may like it, some may not. But what your mod does is definitely solve the problem of switching between running and walking. The thing is that in the original game, when quickly switching between running and walking (or frequently aiming for short periods of time), a bug occurs: the character continues to run, but the sounds of footsteps, weapon swinging, and camera twitching remain, as when walking while maintaining running speed. Judging by the way your mod works, you have the necessary knowledge and experience in modding to write a bugfix (especially since something similar is present in your mod). What is needed is a fix for switching walking and running in the vanilla game.
Do you think you can handle it? (if you understand which bug i'm talking about, my English is so-so). I sure, by making this fix you will make an invaluable contribution to the life (or rather, quality of life) of the great game from obsidian.
then nah, dont look at me, i wont make a bugfix for this, cuz enhanced does it already + adds more, which u dont even have to use, u can disable additional features
Any possibility of getting a separate file for just the sneak animations? (As Sigi's 3rd person movement overhaul points to this mod for them),and I've no clue which files to copy over just to only get the sneaking stuff
The animations are good but worsens a lot the gunplay.
This is because when you are aiming (iron sights) the movement animations still play and you can never get your gun centered. If there was a patch for this it would be a much better mod. I think you would only need to overwrite iron sights animations with vanilla ones and that would be it.
i abandoned this mod in favor of 3rd person weapon animations i create now from time to time that have new and reused anims from this mod to not have this issue u mentioned
well, sigi already ported majority of locomotion anims from mixamo to FNV, so kinda pointless for me to redo this mod, but sprint on the other hand for JAM, that's something that could be redone
In the video comments he said that he deleted the files awhile ago... unfortunately they're not coming to nexus anytime soon. Shame. They looked amazing.
Sigerious did male/female locomotions using mocap anims, and they are 10x better than whatever i did by hand, i looked at the developement of this mod from the beginning and i can assure u, its just better, i simply did not finish this mod, cuz im burned out on FNV like never before
