Version 2.25
- Additions:
- Caesar's Palace, a new casino model, has been added out back, behind the Ultra-Luxe, where the hotel asset from Fallout 3 used to be.
- New apartments and hotels around the exterior of the Strip
- - Pyramid Hotel (by the Golden Gate)
- - the Desert Inn (by the Gomorrah)
- - various apartment filler behind the Lucky 38
- Active radio tower nearby the New York, New York
- Even more signs, mainly around the new buildings
- Minor decor and lighting placement
- Plus some more greenery because everybody likes palm trees :)
- Removals:
- The hotel asset behind the Ultra-Luxe has been fuckin' yeeted because the LOD sucks and its way too distracting
- Same thing with the skyscraper assets making up the New York, New York that had no LOD either
- Sign assets with person and performer names on them have been nailed over with wood planks to remove the namedrops
- - this is to avoid timeline and lore errors
- Leeiyon statues near the Tops have been removed, for fear of causing crashes, and for aesthetics *sparkle sparkle*
- Speaking of the Tops, the prerelease door that was accidentally revealed/ "restored" has been covered over properly
- Probably some other minor things I can't remember
- Adjustments/ Fixes:
- Broken skyscraper assets for the New York, New York have been replaced with better buildings that actually HAVE LOD and still fit the look
- The Landmark Tower fell over to a bad storm and now its half-embedded in the ground
- That fountain which used to be in the middle of the road now reappears with the Pyramid Hotel!
- Circus Circus buildings that were set up by the Tops have been repositioned to no longer clip
- Pedestrian overpass asset lowered, so it no longer appears to defy gravity
- Names of Fallout lore performers have been added to the Old Vegas signs in place of the IRL names
- Repositioning of the LOD iterations for the Strip, so its more consistent in areas like McCarran, the Mojave, and Freeside
- Patches:
- The Strip Walls Restored patch is now completely hole-proof, your favorite pack of Vegas engineers have now ensured a solid wall experience
- - by that I mean the walls for Freeside, the Strip, and the Mojave now operate as expected
- All LOD problems with every version should now be fixed, as far as I'm aware

- The New York, New York now has redone skyscraper placement and building additions for both the Strip and Mojave versions
- All Roads comic buildings (Cassino 7, Dice Casino, Iris, Global Hotel and Pig Strip Club) got redone placement and scaling for the Strip and Mojave
- Landmark Tower moved to behind the Ultra Luxe to fill out the space more cleanly
- Circus Circus now has more hotel buildings for a grander sense of scale
- Circus Circus Marquee moved off the street
- Some more signs and decor have now been added in place of the removed ones, including -

- - NCR Monorail now has more variance throughout the day, so the same order of lines isn't repeated 24/7
- - New audio source at the NCR Embassy/ Michael Angelo's corner
- - New audio source at the Ultra-Luxe Parking Lot
- Volumetric lighting around the Strip has been completely retouched, aiming for better color and layers to the night sky
- More greenery near the road, including a line of lit up palm trees akin to real-world Vegas
- LOD model placement in the Mojave and Freeside adjusted, hopefully still avoiding disappearing acts
- Some general lived-in clutter that doesn't disrupt the cleaner and "oasis" feel of the Strip
- Simple Open Strip:
- The entire mod has been remade in order to work off of both Lightweight Strip Overhaul and Simple Open Strip as a base
- Occlusion culling from Simple Open Strip has been carried over and refined for Brightweight Open
- The whole project now being developed with Simple Open Strip in mind means that prior versions will be left as legacy with, possibly, some polish patches
- Such a massive alteration of course means that a new save will be required to run 2.0 properly
- Make sure to use version-appropriate patches and material!
- Fixes:
- A heap of mesh optimizations, courtesy of zzjay, are now finally included in the main package
- Several problematic glowing buildings which were too bright to look at have now been edited for a much more pleasant appearance
- Odd placement of roads to make a parking lot now replaced with a solid concrete surface
- Lighting oddities as a result of the placed light sources are now no longer an issue
- Some use of imposter meshes in the Strip bypasses a lack of LOD models while ensuring quality
- Fixed the Ultra-Luxe not having proper glow in the Mojave
- NPC navigation issues as a result of poorly placed statics should now no longer be an issue

- Better placement of filler and optimization of casinos for LOD in order to avoid, at all costs, large disappearing buildings
- The Astennu and small entertainment buildings do not have exterior space LOD, just placement, this is known but worked around with location choice to minimize its impact

- Fixes:
- Ultra-Luxe window flickering and lights disappearing at certain angles completely fixed, now at least 90% better
- Carried over YUP edits to the Ultra-Luxe static, maybe now 5% better... so 95% better in total
- Patches:
- Edited Iguazu patch to be a basic new .esp with the changed records only, meaning you can merge it just fine and its a lot easier to keep updating this mod
- New FPGE patch, carrying over the three record edits - should be fully compatible now
- New Strip Walls Restored "patch", standalone - but I heavily recommend you download the original mod if simply to endorse it (might have bugs, if so lemme know)
