I couldn't get this mod to work properly with a recent Titans of the New West update for some reason and was getting pretty confused so I decided to try out "Pipboy Holo Panel ESPless" and it worked immediately. If you get an issue where the pip boy arm animation plays but there is no pip boy screen even though you have turned off the pipboy in the TotNW MCM settings then use this mod instead: Pipboy Holo Panel ESPless

Sure. Sadly with my job I don't have time to maintain this. I'm glad the idea survives in a clean a beautiful way. Thanks for all the interest that this mod still gets.

A bug has appeared that in HDR only the black screen and interface are visible, and during movement a grid appears and overlaps with each other. If you turn off the HDR, then everything is fine. Also, everything works in saves without power armor, however, in saves where power armor is worn, this problem will come out

Does this mod work with Fallout 3? If not, I'm wondering if there's a simple fix to accommodate it...

    *SOLVED (see edit below)*
Where do you find the recipe to craft the Power Gloves?

Would really appreciate some help. It isn't showing up in either workbenches or reloading benches, and I looked through every comment page for a solution and didn't find one. Do the recipes require a new game, or can they be found with an existing save and mine is just bugged?

    *EDIT*
Figured it out! For anyone else wondering the same thing, the recipe won't show up at a workbench until you have the Power Armor Training perk.

There's a delay when I open the pipboy. It's like the animation is still there but invisible. Is it possible to make the new screen to appear faster? Like in an instant.

    Thanks

cool and ambitious but won't work for s#*!, not to mention that it seems the mod author had abandoned it. I prayed that somebody with the prime knowledge of modding to willingly update this mod

    FOR ALL DOWNLOADING 4.03!!!

Its been my pleasure to assure you guys it works just fine, HOWEVER...read the dang description for the home page. through my own trial and error as well i didnt really follow it but trust me its right. You download it, run the game, spawn some power armor through console commands, put it on and pull up you pipboy, close pipboy, exit game, go to your games DATA file then CONFIG and it will have generated an INI file after use to change what you need. "Power_Armor_Holo_Panel" it has 2 real options and a debug feature. If the first line is set to 1 (which if it wasnt working right and the game tells you that it turned it off this is what you need to change). the second line is if you want to keep the holo style inventory for ALL armors. 0 meaning its off and 1 its on.

This is for Titans of the new west 2.0 people. Now the most important thing ive found is that in the MCM menu it has a few options, when you start a new game and equip the pipboy (not before or it might break it) go to the MCM menu and uncheck the first box before ever putting on power armor. if you put it on after its a crap shoot if it will stay consistently working. now thats done there is a "load INI" feature that should be clicked to load your presets that were made in the INI for this mod as well. NOTE: this will zero out all of your settings for the rest of TOTNW 2.0 so you will have to manually go in and recheck them all. that is if you havnt messed with the INI for TOTNW 2.0. So far I havnt seen anything off so it looks like it works.

in my experience so far messing around and not reading it leaves me with a weird black cylinder that surrounds my character and it wont go away AT ALL until i cleanly reinstall the mods. that and it just pulls the arm into your face. if any of this helps pass it along please

I followed these and the Description page's instructions but can't get the .ini to generate for edit. Mod won't work.

Im using vortex and TOTNW 2.0, doesnt play nice with it at first. what manager are you using? It should have created it after using it the first time with a clean install in the mod folder
