For those who are having trouble getting it to work you can try the below. This worked for me.
1. Download the 'Alt Saves' mod and extract it to your ModEngine 2.1 main folder. Where the .bat launchers are.
2. Open the config_eldenring.toml file within ModEngine and navigate to where it offers guidance on how to add .dll. Enter "eldenring_alt_saves.dll" into the correct location, including the quotation marks (" ") It should appear as the below if you've not changed any of the file names.
external_dlls = ["eldenring_alt_saves.dll"]
Save the updated file.
3. Back up your current save files and remove them from their current location. It should be under the following file path, obviously change the drive if installed elsewhere Elden Ring installed (Not sure if required)
C:\Users\'YOURNAME'\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing
4. Launch the game through the .bat file within ModEngine
Since I’m not fluent in English, I’ve created a Discord server linked on main page. I suggest players communicate there and help each other troubleshoot in-game issues.
‘Button interaction’ refers to the button you press for dialogue and picking up items (interaction key). ‘Left/Right’ corresponds to your left/right movement controls. (Note: All directional commands requiring left/right inputs will only take effect after locking onto a target.)
Hello, I have been struggling for a long time and cannot find how to make the flame effect when holding a weapon in two hands a different color than the color of the usual fire through the game files. Can you tell me how to find this effect and change the color? :(
Can anyone help with chenging the values of deflection? It does no damage to poise what so ever. It just doesnt make sence when u fight npc invaders deflect all of their attacks and they still can go for hours without any posture damge.
great but enemy posture damage on deflection is too small, would be awesome if it was as in sekiro, or other mods like Sekiro deflection or Deflect me not. is it possible to change it? i use this mod with Posturebarmod and i see the posture damage

Note that if this mod uses those particular fire VFX for anything else (I kinda doubt it, but you never know) they won't appear and may look wonky.

Honestly ValG71; how would the VFX be added to the game if there was no way to remove it from the game? Think a little before you give a blind answer.
