Early Release! A standalone character with over 2,000 lines of dialogue and an (unfinished) original story set between Witcher 3 and 4. She is highly intelligent with custom gameplay features, extensive radiant dialogue, and an independently-managed menu, along with realistic muscle textures (normal maps). A gift for all Witchers.

〇 Author's Note (Read Me!)
Before checking out this mod, here are some important notes:
I've been working on and off on this Ciri mod for almost two years. I started with mod translation and gradually moved to creating my own. From a complete beginner to becoming more proficient with tools, this journey from scratch has been truly emotional.
There were several times I almost gave up, but the support and encouragement from many friends and fellow modders, along with my love for The Witcher 3 and Skyrim, kept me going.
The biggest challenge was with the voice lines. AI-generated voices have limitations, and using tools to create them felt like a lottery – it might take hundreds of tries to get the desired result, which was extremely time-consuming. Also, my perfectionism led to numerous reworks and even deletions of old personal quests. I sincerely apologize to those who have been waiting patiently for this mod.

〇 Mod Features
1. 2000+ voiced lines, including branching conversations and location/condition-based commentary. Ciri is a lifelike character, aiming to be true to her depiction in the books and The Witcher 3. This mod aims to be as lore-friendly as possible in regards to Ciri's dialogue, motivations, commentary on Skyrim, and more -- lore-friendly with respect to The Witcher, but Skyrim as well (to the extent that is possible). The goal is believability.
2. Custom OAR actions and IED configurations. Perfect Jaskółka（Zireael）sword model.
3. Fully interactivity and commentary through the main quest.
DLC and side/faction quests are next - stage production goals.
The personal line is still in the script stage, but being worked on every day, alongside rewrites of existing dialogue.
4. Initiated Witcher Sign and ultimate skill designs.
5. A summoning menu accessible at any time.
Teleportation marker ability and self-designed rune markers.
6. Ciri can craft Witcher potions for you! (Player Alchemy level 30 or higher is needed)
Available patch for The Witcher 3 Potion in Skyrim Completely recreated Ultimate Magic Potion with unique model
7. Exclusive muscle textures and customizable skin textures.
8. Fully rewritten scripts for waiting/furniture interaction/sandbox mode
(e.g., Ciri won't automatically exit furniture, won't stop following after attacking enemies, sandbox mode accessible via menu anytime, etc. There are many such features).
9. (Optional) Full interactivity (and growing friendship) with Lydia (other follower interactions planned in the future).
Note: Lydia has been tweaked to my preference and to synergize with Ciri, which may not be lore - compatible with other Lydia voice expansion mods (physically compatible; for instance, FDE Lydia makes her out to be a former mercenary, which is not how she's currently written in this mod). Default will disable Ciri's interactions with Lydia that involve my adaptations, use the optional file if you want to try the Lydia addon.
10. Independent follower system. Better to not manage Ciri with follower management mods (NFF soft - compatible).
11. Two default outfits with immersive changing dialogues and completely-redesigned clothing physics.
12. Five different physical hairstyles, switchable at any time.

〇 How to recruit
(For New save/before MQ103stage 180, aka Bleak Falls Barrow) Walk along the path from Helgen (near the Helgen Cave Exit) to Riverwood, where you will witness her unceremonious arrival in Skyrim. There, you can only have a short interaction with her. After your first meeting, please continue with the Main Quest. After being sent to retrieve the Dragonstone (during "Bleak Falls Barrow"), you will meet Ciri again near the entrance of Bleak Falls Barrow, where your interests will align.
(For Existing save/after MQ103stage 180) Wait for the courier to deliver a letter, or directly talk to the strange bard in the Drunken Huntsman.
〇 FAQs
Q: What's the difference of the mod and ...?
A: The entire set of voice assets was originally produced by ThisisLaikes, the author. The features, quest build, dialogue, background, and character personality — absolutely based on the story of The Witcher 3 — are designed by the author(s). The plugin and script files are entirely built by the author. The mod uses different mesh and texture assets compared to the other early-uploaded Ciri follower mods on Nexus. The modded follower should not (or will not be able to) support common follower frameworks, as this is NOT a standard follower mod with just a few custom voices from The Witcher 3 voice files.
Q: Why does the mod has so many requirements? I don like this.
A: Many of the requirements are optional, which means you don't have to install them if you are okay without that addon! Let's be honest, in the modern modding community, most of these requirements are ones you already have, or should have :D To have a mod with a complete feature set, it's smarter for me to utilize existing frameworks rather than needlessly build standalone systems inside the mod itself. If you cannot get some of the requirements to work in your modlist, check your load order and ask for compatibility support on those mods' pages, instead of speaking of this mod "not working" here. Again, no mod requirement here isn't anything too strange that will be a compatibility nightmare.
Q: About the convenient menu?
A: The default menu hotkey is V. The menu should show as a pie menu, where you can have some commands for Ciri, especially to relax (sandbox) and some settings of the mod features.
Q: How do I unlock Ciri's dialogue features?
A: Spend time with her and have more conversations asking about her past. Ciri has a relationship value system (currently not accurately displayed on the MCM menu), which will gradually unlock some of her features, like outfit changes and asking about her past. Time passing and main quest advancement (currently) affect the relationship status.

- All character settings related to Ciri in the mod are based on my personal interpretation.
- English is not my first language, so there are bound to be mistakes。
- I'm just doing a personalized adaptation/expansion and am willing to try to make it as enjoyable as possible for most people.

- The mod features custom, AI-generated voices, and all dialogue (except the battle shout and injury sounds, which are directly used from W3) are unrelated to the original voice acting by Jo Wyatt. This is not a voice clone. I have immense respect for the original voice actors.

〇Current Goals / Future Plans (descending order)
- Rewrite of all existing dialogue and story. Not just grammar, but a professional rewrite for emotion, lore and immersion (including how you engage with certain follower systems, like changing outfit, wait/command, etc). Your relationship with Ciri will grow and progress organically. Despite not having her Elder Blood powers at the start of the mod, in lore she'd obviously still be extremely capable (and stubborn :D), and we want that reflected in how you interact. The goal is for this to feel like her book/game personality without it ever impeding gameplay or being "annoying."
- Revised Voice for Ciri, aiming to bridge her w3 and w4 voices since the latter has a new VA (who sounds great, just different and more mature).
- Extensive, character-driven personal questline, taking place between Witcher 3 and 4. Integrated into the lore of both Skyrim and Witcher (hint: Skyrim lore is partially responsible for how/why she ended here and why she needs the Dragonborn's help to get back).
- Witcher 4 stuff: trailer armor, new (ashen) hairstyle, and two swords on back.
- More custom AI and gameplay features to make her feel more immersive and lore-friendly (use crossbow against dragons, sword-arrow deflection, share drinks at tavern, gift-giving, playing music.....Gwent? JK. Unless...)
- More custom animations and visual effects
- Base game side quests, DLC and Faction quest awareness. Ones that will be prioritized are those that make sense for her as a witcher (monsters, curses, etc) and less so things that feel unbelievable (Ciri in Dark Brotherhood).
- Integration with other mods - Witcher/monster contracts addon for Missives? Dragonborn's Bestiary extension?
- Witcher 3 monsters / bosses - check out Mihail's Vampire Beasts, leshens ("Old Gods of the Hunt), and Foglings!
- Follower interactions - base game and/or modded
- Quest mod support (Vigilant?)
- Lore-friendly romance (not marriage)
- New cell or maybe a small worldspace as part of her personal questline.

Q: Why does the personal line end abruptly?
A: Because I haven't finished it. It's being worked on everyday!
Q: Will Ciri have a romance line? XXX patch plz?
A: Perhaps...？Lore-friendliness is important to us. So whatever is implemented will exist within that limitation.
Q: She's tooooo muscular, is there any way I can change that?
A: There are other 3 body normal maps you can choose from in textures\SC\0_Followers\000_Ciri\Body.
Of which the femalebody_2_msn.dds is less muscular, and you can just rename it as femalebody_1_msn.dds (which is what the game engine is using) and replace the original one. You can backup those dds and don't have to delete other files.
"Her body still a bit too muscular," or something else? Please report your advice and wait for future updates.
Q: I don't like her appearance? Could you please provide an alternate version?
A: Tbh not. As currently other Ciri appearance assets don't give us credits, we cannot upload an official alternate appearance version on this page. If you really like one, swap it by yourself. However, as listed in future updates, we want add more of a Witcher 4 variation of her default appearance.
Q: Animation not Working?
A: Right now, Ciri's unique animation is not supporting BFCO (but to convert it to BFCO could not be more simple, it's an automated tool); Use MCO instead for "plug and play."
Q: I don't see Ciri in Riverwood's Sleeping Giant Inn?
A: If you use Overhaul(s) of Riverwood Interior(s), you should check if you need a patch from the Patch Collection.
Q: I've encountered a bug...
A: Please feel free to post in the post/bug sections.
But before your comment(s), please make sure you have read those notes:
i. Have you installed all the requirements/possible patches you needed? Have you checked your load order?
ii. Is there a similar report on this page or even already a given solution in comments?
iii. Are you sure the bug doesn't come from user corruption? For example, you're playing the mod on an existing save (it's always recommended to play a scripted mod on a new save game.) Or, you're using console commands to get through the quest /you have incompatible mods the page has mentioned already / you have edited the mod file yourself.
iv. Please have patience, as this is an early release and being worked on very hard, a labor of love. Be polite to the mod author(s).
Q: Can I modify, create compatibility patches or mods based on this mod?
A: Yes, as long as you credit thisislaikes as the original author and do not use it for commercial purposes (if you want to include it in a mod pack, please contact me for permission).
Q: Can I upload Ciri to other websites?
A: No! It's and should be only released on Nexus and FKMods.

A：不能，希里只会发布在N网和FKmods。
Q：我觉得希里有点过于筋肉了......
A：在CiriInSkyrim-MainFile\textures\SC\0_Followers\000_Ciri\Body 这个路径中，还有另外三张法线贴图，其中femalebody_2_msn.dds相较之下更温和，将其更名为femalebody_1_msn.dds并覆盖源文件即可。如果还是觉得有点太过了？请等待日后更新。
