You will need to use Nifskope for adjustments.
Dynamic Impact - Slash Effects X
This post is a simple guide to customizing tweaks in Dynamic Impact - Slash Effects X.
This article is written for 0.201a.
- 01. Each Nif file structure and its purpose

fxhitobjmisc / This file is the VFX NIF used when hitting MATERIAL that corresponds to OTHER.
fxhitobjspark / This file is the VFX NIF used when hitting MATERIAL that corresponds to METAL.
blade / Used for swords, axes, and daggers.
blunt / Used for hammers.

...bloodmed / Used by the overall actor that is bleeding.
...dragon / It is assigned to Dragon only, but is not currently working (I need advice on this).
...bone / Draugrs, Skeletons..
...metalmed / Dwarvens..
- 02. Adjusting the size

Position / This is the node that allows you to adjust the entire child node.
p[Slash or Splash]Effect / slash impact effect.
pBloodEffect / Blood Splatter Effect.
pDustyEffect / Draugrs, Skeletons hit Effect.
pSparkEffects / Dwarvens hit Effect.
- pLensFlare / Horizontal Lens Flare Effect.
- pSparkSplat / Spark Splat Effect.
- pGlow / Spreading Glow Effect.
- pBitsTiny / Spark Shards Effect.

Flags / Adding a value of +1 disables the effect.
Example 524302, enable / 524303, disable
Scale / You can change the size of the particles by adjusting the Scale value of each node.
- 03. Mixing Particles

NiNode / Node can change the blood effect + metal effect + dust effect by copying and pasting each item into another nif.
- 04. Adjusting intensity

NiParticleSystems marked with the text -!- can adjust the intensity of the slash effect by adjusting the Emissive Multiple value.
Higher values increase the amount of density, making Bloom and Lens more responsive.

However, even with the -!- text markings I've shown, I recommend only modifying the ones inside the image box above.
04-01. To disable the cross-vertical effect sometimes seen at stabbing angles, disable the pSlashEffect-emitter entry.
We'll provide more information as it becomes available.
