What this mod does:
It replaces the armorbreak.wav sound file from Loot and Degradation with another sound that is louder and easier to recognize (it sounds like a gong).
Why this mod is necessary:
Even using the widget that tells you what items you have equipped, I never look at it during the battle. Considering I always fight in first person, I would often find my character to be naked by the end of a battle because all of my armor had broken during the fight and I hadn't noticed it. With this new, louder sound, I hope to make the event of an armor piece breaking more evident so you can quickly equip a new piece in its place.
How to install this mod:
Simply drop the contents of the mod's data folder inside your Skyrim data folder, or use a mod manager.
How to uninstall this mod:
I suggest uninstalling with a mod manager. If doing so manually, remove the armorbreak.wav file from Skyrim\Data\Sound\fx\lootanddegradation and move the original one back in place.
