Brings some life to Barton.
No NPC or navmeshe edits but the mod will replace any other AI package edit made by other mods by the one I created.
Brings some life to Barton.
- He always waits into the small camper instead of wandering around (sometimes very far in vanilla).
- Looks more desperate and has more dramatic facial expressions (give him an oscar!).
- Force-greet if the player comes too close (only once). When player get close to him after the first time, he will just tell the "please help" sentence without triggering any dialog box, just to remind the player that he really really really needs help.
- Not follow the player everywhere to talk to him or her like in the old Barton Thorn Acts Normally mod (because of a bad combo between the trigger box and the fact that Barton could wander very far) but still confronts the player with his weapon out.
- Improves some dialogs (player's "goodbye" options) by changing them for "I have no time for that" and such.
- Add new dialog if player already been into the Gecko zone before Barton said that is the place to go: "I've already been there. There's nothing but corpses." Barton will be surprised then a bit more... agressive. This option fix a not logical event that even you already visited the place, Barton wait for you to go there. Wich was nonsense. Gives you an alternative way to do the quest (but don't expect a different ending).
- Improves the whole area with some clutter, trees, decorations, a powder ganger corpse... Compatible out of the box with most well known landscape overhauls (a special patch for Enhanced Landscapes is provided). Fix clutter that was floating a bit in air (tin cans, bottles....). I also changed the red ugly balls on the cliff (that are showing up with Wild Wasteland trait) by basket balls. Not sure if this change will work (balls could be invisible, wich wouldn't be a big loss).
- Built-in compatibility with Essential Vanilla Enhancements Merged mod.
- All voiced with vanilla files edits (french and english).
