About this mod
Tired of trudging around at the speed of a snail with your pockets full of fission batteries? Want a way to transport all that loot without resorting to buffing carry weight? Fear no more! Cache Pack adds a backpack that functions as a deployable, separate inventory.

Cache Pack rigging can be built at a workbench with a few leather belts and scrap metal. Activate the rigging in your Aid menu to assemble it, and the Pack will equip automatically. Your Cache Pack can be dropped anywhere by unequipping it. Once it's on the ground, you can interact with it like a regular container, re-equip it, or empty and break it back down into rigging.
If you store objects in one Cache Pack, you can equip that Pack and go elsewhere, and your stuff will remain in the Pack, thus allowing you to transport more than you could normally carry. You can only equip or carry one Pack at a time (of course) but can have any number deployed and bring extra rigging with you. You can also put an empty Cache anywhere you like in the game. Just drop a Rigging from your inventory, move it to where you'd like, and activate it. Boom: nifty Cache.

Notes:
=========
The Pack is not unequipped by quests automatically. I am working on a way to get it yoinked and returned to you in the course of those quests, along with everything else. In the meantime, I suggest leaving it behind before heading into Dead Money or Honest Hearts, so as to maintain the balance the developers wanted for those DLCs. Or don't - it's your call.
