A very simple mod that modifies the games files to allow for resource gathering up to the 2 billion 32-bit integer maximum. More than enough resources for ANY playthrough.
This mod makes a few changes to the base games files that allows for a maximum of 2,147,483,647 across Credits, Element Zero, Iridium, Palladium and Platinum. The programming addresses are 32-bit integers, so it made more sense to set their maximum values accordingly.
This mod does not give you this amount to start, it just raises the overall resource cap available in a single playthrough, ensuring that you will almost never hit the cap and that every resource available throughout the game can now be collected and put to use.
In my testing of the mod, the resulting value still does not reach 2,147,483,647 without going into the negative, so some part of the address may be reserved for additional data. Regardless, I don't imagine most playthroughs will ever reach or exceed 2 billion without the use of cheats.
