About this mod

Replaces more than 12,000 lines of dialogue for Spiderman (and optionally Peter) with Spider Gwen from the Spiderverse films using voice cloning. See description for how to install. Other mods depicted in my screenshots and videos are Tango's Ghost-Spider and Gwen Inspired Swinging (see description for links to these mods).

Note: Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind words on the mod. I'm glad people have enjoyed it! Unfortunately, I do not have time to provide any support for this mod (or make this mod for Spiderman 2). If you are curious how the mod is made, then I highly recommend 1) looking into the YouTube Channel Jarod's Journey for inspiration on voice cloning and 2) looking into information on how to rebuild the soundbank files (look up bnk extractor and bnk replacer on GitHub to find the tools you need). Hope this helps.

Turn Spiderman into Spider Gwen with this voice overhaul mod. The mod replaces all voice lines attributed to Peter when he is wearing his suit. There is an optional add-on mod that also replaces Peter's voice lines out of the suit. The mod is largely inspired by "AbdAshes' Deeper Masked Spiderman Voice Overhaul" since their mod points to all of the Spiderman voice lines (still not sure how they accomplished this), so a big thank you to them.

My screenshots and videos depict two other mods that are recommended to be used with this mod. These mods are Tango's Ghost-Spider and Gwen Inspired Swinging. Thanks to these modders to make the experience complete.

To accomplish the voice cloning of Spider Gwen from the Spiderverse films I used RVC with training data from the actress' many interviews. The voice is not perfect and is especially bad during voice lines that have yelling, screaming, or anytime Spiderman uses a higher pitch voice. Also, there are some cinematic events where the voice line does not play fully. Despite all of this, there are some nice moments where the voice sounds great.

To install the mod, you can use Overstrike or the SMPC Tool.
Make sure to back up your save files in case the game crashes (it shouldn't but always be careful).
It is recommended to use Overstrike since this mod manager installs this mod much faster than the SMPC Tool.
If you use Overstrike, simply click the plus green icon on the right of the program and find where you downloaded the .smpcmod file. Once the mod is shown in the program simply click "Install Mods" at the bottom right of the program.
If you use the SMPC Tool, add the .smpcmod file in the "Mod Manager" section of the tool. As pointed out by AbdAshes in his mod, you may find that the SMPC tool freezes when you click on the mod. This is caused by the tool loading all 12,000 files that are changed. For now, the best thing is to just wait for it to unfreeze (may take a few minutes, but no more) and then proceed to click install. That's the most painful part of the process, but after it's installed you are good to go.

I hope that you enjoy the mod, and that it allows you to bide some of your time as we anxiously wait for Spiderman 2 to come out for PC. I'm new to the modding community and this was just a fun side project for me, so I'm not sure I'll have more time to fix any additional issues. However, I'll try to read the posts on this mod and see what I can do.
